Reviews and Ratings
This hotel has a lot of potential, with beautiful historical character and great scenic surroundings. However, our stay was marred by significant service issues and inadequacies in room comfort. Dining experiences were inconsistent, and while there were some enjoyable aspects, we ultimately felt let down. Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations of luxury.
Our experience at the hotel was quite disappointing, as we faced numerous service issues that really detracted from our stay. While the property itself has a lot of charm and is set in beautiful surroundings, the lack of attentive service and the overall condition of the facilities left much to be desired. The dining options were decent, but not enough to uplift the experience overall.
My stay was a mixed bag. The hotel was filled with dogs and kids, which made it lively but also quite noisy and challenging for anyone with allergies. The food at Chops was exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was a definite highlight. However, the value for what you pay is questionable, especially since some services fell short of expectations. Overall, it's a great choice for dog lovers and families, but not ideal for those seeking tranquility or a romantic getaway.
My recent stay at this resort was quite mixed. While the hot tub and pool offered a delightful retreat after a long day, the noise levels and pet policy proved challenging for those with allergies. The dining experience was fantastic, particularly the breakfast options, but the lack of effective noise control and the presence of barking dogs created a frustrating environment. Overall, it's a decent spot, especially for families and dog lovers, but those seeking tranquility might want to think twice.
