This hotel has a lot of potential, with beautiful historical character and great scenic surroundings. However, our stay was marred by significant service issues and inadequacies in room comfort. Dining experiences were inconsistent, and while there were some enjoyable aspects, we ultimately felt let down. Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations of luxury.

Rooms

Our room had a very strange configuration with a tiny bathroom and windows that hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The overall quality was quite disappointing for a premium price.
Service
5.0
While some staff were incredibly helpful, others were indifferent and unprepared, which really detracted from the experience. Management seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive to feedback.
Location
8.0
The location is fantastic, providing easy access to beautiful hiking trails and Manchester’s downtown area, but the property felt a bit worn.
Dining

Facilities included an indoor and outdoor pool, but the management needs to ensure staff can keep up with maintenance and service demands to truly enhance the experience.

5.6/10

Our experience at the hotel was quite disappointing, as we faced numerous service issues that really detracted from our stay. While the property itself has a lot of charm and is set in beautiful surroundings, the lack of attentive service and the overall condition of the facilities left much to be desired. The dining options were decent, but not enough to uplift the experience overall.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were outdated and not suitable for the premium prices they charge. The bathroom was very cramped, and the uneven floors made it dizzying at times.
Service
5.0
Service was lacking, with staff showing little initiative or attention. We had to follow up repeatedly for basic requests, which was frustrating.
Location
9.0
The location is great, close to downtown and with easy access to hiking trails. This was definitely a high point of our stay.
Dining
6.0
Dining options at the hotel were decent, particularly the breakfast, but the service was often inattentive.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were not well maintained, with issues like peeling paint and an AC unit that was not repaired as promised.

7.2/10

My stay was a mixed bag. The hotel was filled with dogs and kids, which made it lively but also quite noisy and challenging for anyone with allergies. The food at Chops was exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was a definite highlight. However, the value for what you pay is questionable, especially since some services fell short of expectations. Overall, it's a great choice for dog lovers and families, but not ideal for those seeking tranquility or a romantic getaway.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were adequate but nothing special; a bit tired in decor.
Service
7.0
Service was hit or miss. Some staff were accommodating, but there were instances where rules regarding dogs were not enforced.
Location
7.0
The location is convenient, close to various activities, but can be noisy due to the dog-friendly policy.
Dining
8.0
Dining at Chops was fantastic, with excellent food but high prices; breakfast was also quite good.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities, including the gym and spa, were well-maintained but the hot tub can get crowded with kids.

My recent stay at this resort was quite mixed. While the hot tub and pool offered a delightful retreat after a long day, the noise levels and pet policy proved challenging for those with allergies. The dining experience was fantastic, particularly the breakfast options, but the lack of effective noise control and the presence of barking dogs created a frustrating environment. Overall, it's a decent spot, especially for families and dog lovers, but those seeking tranquility might want to think twice.

Rooms

The rooms were disappointing and not as clean as expected, impacting my overall experience.
Service
